The team took a day off to volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Central Ohio right down the street from our Short North office in Columbus, Ohio. Together we toured the recently renovated facility, which we learned was the current largest RMH in the world.
We were treated like royalty by the staff and volunteers who gave us drinks and cookies while checking on our progress with the silverware wrapping! It was amazing to see the Columbus spirit filling the halls with rooms themed after Ohio State and a BlueJackets four-story slide and playground. This made us proud to be a business in Columbus.
Here's a blurb from the RMH website about their purpose:
For more than three decades, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC) has been serving families with seriously ill children by providing a home-away-from-home at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. From our beginnings as a grassroots movement established by a partnership between volunteers and local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, our charity has served thousands of families in their deepest times of need.
