Whether you have chatted with him in a local Cincy coffee shop or you're one of his many followers on Instagram, Jimmy is a great person to know and a great person to have as your Client Success Manager. He does more than your accounting here at Upsourced; he works with all our clients on numerous issues across the board and is our resident Gusto guru. He truly seeks to see our clients succeed, thus the job title! We asked Jimmy a series of questions so that you can get to know him better. Check it out:
1. So, where did you go to school?
I went to the University of Cincinnati. Go Bearcats!
2. Do you have a favorite hobby?
My favorite things to do are to take photos and spend time outside, especially in places I’ve never been to before.
3. What's your vice to get through the week?
Coffee. Without a doubt. It’s my favorite way to start the day. I either use the French Press at home or walk to one of the several coffee shops in my neighborhood. My personal favorite is Collective Espresso, located in the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center.
4. Where's the coolest place you've traveled to?
My all-time favorite place is the Pacific Northwest, specifically the Oregon Coast and Yellowstone National Park. One of my lifelong goals is to visit every National Park in North America.
5. If you could live in a movie's reality, which would it be?
One where the animals can talk. My 3-year-old golden retriever, Ollie, seems to have a lot on his mind...
6. Who's the one person (alive or not) who you'd like to grab a beer with?
Lebron James. He and I went to the same high school at the same time, but I was a little too short to be a member of his squad. I’m a huge fan and would love to pick his brain on all things Ohio.
7. The last book you read?
Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson. They are the founders of 37Signals, the company that created Basecamp. It’s a fantastic book, and one I would recommend, especially to members/fans of the startup community.
8. What's your favorite thing about being on the Upsourced Team?
The small businesses and clients we get to work with on a daily basis. I love working with people who are trying to create something or make a difference in their communities.
