Honoring the life of Dustin Fultz

Several of our clients worked with Dusty closely as he served as their accountant during his time with us at Upsourced. He was more than an accountant here--he was an inspirational cancer-fighter. Dusty and his wife relocated to Columbus in order to be close to The James Cancer Hospital where he was undergoing intense treatments for incurable esophageal cancer.

Dusty never wanted any of his clients to find out that he was sick; he just wanted to work hard and provide great service. Dusty was always talking strategy and trying to figure out how far he could push himself to work hard and overcome his limits. Coming to work and serving his clients gave Dusty purpose these last ten months as he battled his sickness.

Early Saturday morning, April 23, 2016, Dusty passed in his sleep surrounded by his wife, Dieley, and family at a Hospice facility in Middletown, Ohio.

As we grieve for our colleague and our friend, your thoughts, prayers, and patience are appreciated. See below for our company's Pelotonia team if you wish to donate in memory of Dusty and to fight cancer with us.

The Upsourced team, led by Ryan Baker, has created a Pelotonia Team as a way to take action on Dusty's behalf and raise funds for cancer research at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital. If you feel so led, you can donate to our team: pelotonia.org/ForDusty.

The family has also asked that in lieu of flowers, "please consider donating a pint of blood to your local blood bank in memory of Dustin, together we must fight this horrible malady called Cancer." You can read Dusty's obituary here
