Best Places to Grab a Drink in Columbus This Summer

If anyone knows how to take advantage of working full time during summer, it's a small business owner. The sunshine is out and you can validate "networking" at coutless happy hours around town at these locations. Or maybe you just need an excuse to take your team out for "bonding purposes."

Here's details on our favorite spaces and places to grab a beer and some food around Columbus this summer.

Lineage Brewing - website

Clintonville love. This brewery has a casual family-friendly atmosphere where they brew all different styles of beer. If you're hungry they serve small plates, specializing in hand pies. Bonus: it's an old car wash with garage doors that open for an open-air concept.

OddFellows - website

Here's your best, big patio to enjoy being outdoors. The place is plenty "hipster," but it's the best place for drinking food - grab some late night slice or hai poké to nom. Great place to come whether it's for an afternoon beer or late night hot spot.

Seventh Son - website

Our team came here after our quarterly volunteering. We ended up sitting inside due to humidity (lame, I know), but the patio's atmosphere, adorable food truck, Porch, and delicious beers will keep you hanging around. The quirky decor and plants make you feel like a real life hipster.

Balboa - website

The patio is everything. But so is their blueberry margarita. The semi-open-air bar isn't as fun to stand around as just waiting for an actual table on the patio. You can sip while you wait. You're in the heart of quaint Grandview and the charm is extended to this restaurant with tapas styled Spanish food

Standard Hall - website

So it's like Pint House with a patio! Plus, you can't resist one of their boozie popsicles (yes, it's a thing). This place is brand new and is still under construction to make the patio even bigger. I think we can expect great things from Standard Hall.
