Ryan Baker

Founder and Principal

The "King of the Hill" around here. Prior to Upsourced, Ryan was a management accountant with Lockheed Martin Corporation. When he’s not Upsourcing, he’s either out for a jog with his wife and pup, pouring an IPA, or trying to translate what his three-year-old daughter is saying to their newborn.

Ryan Watson, CPA

Founder and Principal

Prior to Upsourced, Ryan was a Management Consultant with Navigant Consulting and Sr. Auditor with Deloitte & Touche. In addition to serving as head of finance for Cincinnati-based startup, Ahalogy, Ryan also enjoys made-for-tv holiday movies and running with his wife Lauren and their dog Harvey.

Audrey Holbrook

Staff Accountant

Audrey, previously an accounting analyst at the University of Toledo, holds a finance degree from the University of Kentucky. Rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats, going to concerts, and finding cool new bars and restaurants around Columbus keeps her busy.

Jimmy Balough

Staff Accountant

Jimmy’s a huge fan of coffee, photography, VW vans and his adorable dog, Ollie. When he’s not at work partnering with small businesses like yours, he’s exploring new places and sharing them with friends and family on Instagram.

Lauren Tiffan

Business Development Manager

With a focus on entrepreneurship, Lauren helps our small business grow and develop, typically with coffee in hand. She is always meeting new people and enjoys traveling as much as she does staying home to watch movies over ice cream with her husband, Greg.

Tim Keating

Staff Accountant

Tim comes to us from construction accounting, formerly working as a project accountant in Dallas. Outside of Upsourced you’re most likely to find him at a Columbus Crew or Blue Jackets game. He’s always willing to talk Woodwork, Music, and anything he can do to help build and support the small business community.

In loving memory of our forever teammate, Dustin "Dusty" Fultz.

October 8th, 1987 - April 23, 2016

Company culture matters, and we want you to know who we are and how we operate.

We excel at working with small businesses because we are one. At Upsourced, we vibe with the startup feel; things move fast and we stay on top of the latest trends, tech, and OSU sports news. We treat our clients as partners and our coworkers as friends. And we always strive to be collaborative, kind, and fun!

Collaborative

Teamwork makes the dream work” is our reality. We aren’t worried that one individual isn’t putting in the work, but trust that each Upsourced employee is as productive as they are laid back. And we believe mistakes are not made on purpose, but can become points for learning. It helps when your team always has your back.

Kind

Accounting can be complex and this is a high strung industry. But it never gets to a point that we’re no longer nice to each other. We share a common goal for excellence, so we encourage and motivate each other when things are tough.

Fun

We’re kind of anti-accountant accountants. We’re fun! (Seriously, we’re fun.) We keep a small startup feel to our innovative and growing company. We enjoy working with each other and because we share a common goal for excellence, we don’t need to compete with each other.
